Fatherhood Group-
The next monthly Fatherhood Support Group meeting will be held on Tuesday February 12, 2008 @ 6:30. It is to be held in the PACT Offices. Dinner will be provided to those fathers in attendance.

Tips for Completing Employment Applications
- Follow written instructions and write neatly
- Answer questions accurately
- Emphasize your skills and accomplishments.
- Do not leave sections blank. Put a line through the section or write “NA” for “not applicable” if it does not apply to you.
- Use an erasable black pen to allow for changes and present a good impression.

Attendance
Please work on your monthly attendance. Incentives have not changed. Each PACT enrolled student who has 100% attendance for any given month will earn a $30 gift card to Wal-Mart to use as they choose. As per the PACT Student agreement, you need to maintain a minimum of 85% attendance each month, as well as keep a 2.0 GPA!

College Bound Students
Any student planning to continue with their education following High School graduation can apply for Financial Aid beginning January 1, 2008. Applications can be accessed via the Federal Student Aid website www.fafsa.ed.gov. The deadline for the Pennsylvania Higher Education Agency (PHEEA) portion of the grant is May 1, 2008. You will need your previous year’s tax return information to complete the FAFSA form.

Income Tax Time!
Any student who would like help preparing their 2007 Income Tax return can notify his/her Case Manager. We can help review the paperwork and access additional professional services if necessary.
